Description
540 mixed age composite ewes weighing between 43kg - 63kg. These are the mids of the mixed age ewes. A large tail was removed before assessing. Teaser rams were in for 10 days and removed at assessment. No ewes are being retained. There are a few ewes with black markings on their faces (see photos). They have a fair bit of leg under them, which could be the white suffolk in them. A lot of ewes had tags missing so I mouthed 15 ewes which ranged from 4 tooth to full mouth, none were broken. All tags will be replaced prior to delivery. Big framey ewes with not a lot of fat cover, they will put cover on quickly given feed.
